About Ike Wellhausen

Early into college, Ike came across voice acting. He now owns his own voice-over equipment and is making a career out of his voice acting skills. He has worked on projects at Ball State through the Immersive Learning Center. More recently, Ike has been contracted to voice for the Epic Escape Game videos, an"Escape Game" franchise. He has trained online through Edge Studios. 

Ike found a passion for writing through his years at Ball State University. Frequently crafting stories in his daily life, Ike found that writing them down might prove to be a reliable, beneficial, and eventually profitable use of his imagination. Since the spring of 2016, Ike has been developing a series titled, Dying is Easy, following the life of one super-villain forced to save the world while in the hands of the enemy. Though the writing is perilous and filled with tedium , it is important to Ike to collaborate with as many artists as possible to create a diverse piece; creating opportunities of growth through fellow artists. There have been over twenty people involved in the making of this project thus far, with the hope for more as time goes on. dying is Easy has been tabled to make way for several smaller projects: Destination Unknown, Slay!, and The Arcade Jungle. Each with its own set of difficulties and challenges.  

Ike has a large family, being the youngest of four. He currently lives in NYC and pounds the pavement. Ike has a niece and nephew he cherishes and hopes to make proud as they grow up in this uneasy time. Ike loves his mother, Sharon Franklin, who, on August 21st, 2018, lost her battle to Stage IV Metastatic breast cancer. To his mother in Heaven, Ike would like to say, "You are the only truth I have ever known. Your life inspires me to do more than I ever think myself capable of achieving. You will always be a part of me, and I will do everything in my power to make you proud of your son."
